The project is inspired by the symbol of harvest: wheat . The east and north facades are renovated with large punched windows and new cedar shake cladding to illuminate both the renovation and the symbol.
The site plan is focused on accessibility design. The new 1:15 ramp and 2 barrier-free parking design follows the City of Mississauga Facility Accessibility Design Standards.
The first two floors will be designed as a new museum of flour mill to show the history of the Paisley mill and flour mill. On the third floor, visitors can sit next to the large windows to enjoy their coffee, lunch, and views.
